Alma’s girls basketball team improved to 11-10 on March 4 with a 49-34 victory in the Class B championship game with Shepherd. The Panthers started the game at 4-9 before coming back to winning the district title. Kenzie Seeley led Alma with 24 points while Taylor Guerrero added 10 points and four steals, Emmy Vanblanricum had eight points and Taylor Kinnunen had six rebounds.
