Tanner Thomas (27-12) of Davison placed eighth for Davison at 189 pounds in the Division 1 individual state wrestling championships recently at The Palace of Auburn Hills. In the seventh-place match, he was pinned in 4:14 by Mitchell Gross of Canton-Salem.
