Boyd Hubbard (53-5) of Alma placed 3rd at 171 pounds in the Division 3 individual state finals at The Palace of Auburn Hills. He won his first two matches, lost 7-1 to Kevin Curby of Hillsdale and then won his next two matches including a 6-1 decision over Justin Sloan of Chesaning for third place.
