Friday night, the Ionia Bulldogs pulled out the Class B district title against the Portland Raiders with a thrilling 41-40 win.
Portland’s season ends at 14-10 while Ionia (13-9) goes to the Charlotte Class B regional semifinals next Tuesday.
It’s Ionia’s third straight district crown and the fourth straight time the Bulldogs have played Portland in the finals.
Olivia Roe led Portland with 13 points.
