Season Accolades: She had 39 assists and 15 aces and led the Hornets to a pair of wins at the Genesee double dual. She also helped to lead New Lothrop to a 6-0 record at the Morrice Invitational with 88 assists, 35 digs, and 14 aces.

The Emily Buckelew File

School: Durand
Grade: Senior
Sport: Volleyball
Season Accolades: A four-year varsity player, Buckelew surpassed the 1,000-kill mark for her career. She totaled 39 kills and 27 digs to help Durand win the Durand Invitational and 56 kills and 50 digs as Durand won the Ovid-Elsie Invitational.

The Dillon McClintock File

School:  Owosso
Grade: Senior
Sport: Cross Country
Season Accolades: McClintock won the Division 2 regional at Delta College when she ran her first sub-19-minute time of the season to qualify for the state finals for the fourth time in her career. Earlier this year, she won the Chesaning Invitational for the third time in her career when she turned in a time of 19:11.

The Cole Franks File

School: Laingsburg
Grade: Senior
Sport: Football
Season Accolades: Franks was one of the most productive receivers in the area this season. Against Fulton, he caught seven passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. In a win against Potterville, he caught three passes for 68 yards and scored two touchdowns.

Sport: Football
Season Accolades: Shaw made a major impact for Perry this season. Against Stockbridge, he carried the ball 24 times for 235 yards and three touchdowns. Against Leslie, he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Grade: Sophomore
Sport: Cross Country
Season Accolades: Jacobs won the regional title and advanced to the state finals, as he turned in a time of 15:59. He also won the Shiawassee County meet with a time of 16:08 and placed second at the Carson-City Crystal Don Baese Invitational in a time of 16:03.
