Players returning: Trent Johns, Noah Wilson, Shane Wiley

Coach’s comment: Wilson is a tough runner and should have himself a great season behind Trent Johns and Shane Wiley. Those two should be a huge force upfront on both sides of the ball. We will be a young team, with the majority or our team being juniors.

Coach’s comment:We are returning a lot of great experience on both the offensive and defensive lines; both should be strength for our team. Overall, we will be relying on a lot of underclassmen at our skill positions. Our season will really depend on how quickly we can catch those players up to speed.”

Coach’s comment:Our overall numbers are up. We had 24 on the varsity last season; we’re bringing in 37 this season. We lost some size and speed to graduation, but our juniors are pretty talented. We are also playing a tougher schedule this season, with the week two addition of Lake City.  We look forward to the challenge ahead of us. Overall, I think the Jack Pine Conference is a tossup with Clare, Gladwin, and Harrison.”
