High School lllustrated has printed a recent article detailing how a three-sport athlete, Jake Straughan, has overcome a broken leg to lead Colton High School in Washington to two state titles and has been a player of the year. He earned a basketball scholarship from the University of Idaho and has also played football and baseball. Straughan led his Colton basketball and baseball teams to win two state championships, despite suffering a broken leg in a football playoff game just a few months prior to that.
