DeWitt was third with 28 points in the state girls track and field Division 2 finals at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids recently. The team of Madison Slater, Shelby Waterson, Emily Murdoch and Jordan Lee was seventh in 9:47.05 in the 3,200-meter relay. Josie Yesmunt won the 100-meter dash in 12.33 seconds and the 200 in 25 seconds. DeWitt was third in the 1,600-meter relay in 4:02.60.
