Alex Young of Portland has advanced to the Division 3 state finals with a 3-0 record so far this weekend at Auburn Hills. He beat Collin Dole of Saginaw Swan Valley in the semifinals 3-1 on Friday to advance to the finals on Saturday. Dominic Gardner, Paul Savage and Derek Gardner all went 0-2 and did not place.
