- Big Rapids had good representation at the Central Michigan Power Lifting regional meet at Shepherd on Feb. 15.
- Kyle Palsey finished first at the varsity 145-pound class. Dryden Hauger was third at varsity 207 pounds and John Mahalski third at varsity 275 pounds. Wayne Miller 194 pounds, varsity, was fourth.
