Jacob Alarie was first at 215 pounds for Bay City Western in the Division 2 districts at Gaylord on Saturday and qualified for the regionals next Saturday. Several other BC Western players also took first place with Coby Moore at 119, Blake Jackson at 125, Thomas Schoenherr at 135. Taking seconds were Noah Schoenherr at 112, Jacob Wibirt at 135 and Christian Schoenherr at 140. Top four finishers advance to the regionals.Cody Okes was third at 189 and Zach Davis fourth at 145.
