Chippewa Hills’ wrestling team, ranked No. 8 in the state, improved to 18-4 overall and 5-1 in the CSAA with a sweep of Central State Activities Association foes on Wednesday night. The Warriors blanked Newaygo 83-0 and lost to Central Montcalm 57-12.
Chippewa Hills has three wrestlers ranked in Division 3 with Richie Ostrander No. 8 at 103 with a 7-3 mark; Zack King ranked No. 4 at 112 with a 24-2 record and Kevin Briscoe has a No. 8 rating at 145 with a 19-8 mark.
