Shepherd fell to 2-5 on Wednesday with a 52-48 loss to Alma, which netted 38 points from Maddy Seeley, in girls basketball action. Alma trailed 15-14 after the first quarter but led 24-23 at halftime. Shepherd went up 38-34 after the third quarter but Alma had an 18-10 scoring advantage in the fourth. Hannah Yesmunt netted 16 points while Katie Crawford added 13 and Rachel Travis had 11.
