Swan Valley fell to 2-2 on Friday with a 73-64 boys basketball loss to Saginaw Valley Lutheran. Valley Lutheran was down 12-9 after the first quarter but had a 22-13 scoring bulge in the second quarter for a 31-25 halftime lead. Valley Lutheran led 46-34 after the third quarter. Valley Lutheran had a 27-20 scoring advantage in the final quarter.
Brock Notter scored 18 points for Swan Valley while Nick Call and Nate Fries netted 13 apiece, Preston Joiner scored 12 points and Garrett Preston had six points.
