Birch Run fell to 2-1 with a 49-42 loss to Bridgeport on Dec. 17. Birch Run led 12-6 after the first quarter and was outscored 14-3 in the second period. It was 20-15, Bridgeport at halftime. Bridgeport led 39-28 after the third quarter. Birch Run had a 14-10 scoring advantage in the final quarter. Eric Naylor had 13 points for Birch Run and Andrew Thompson with 11 points. Zachary Miller scored six points.
