Saginaw High dropped its first game Saturday 70-65 at Detroit Douglass to fall to 3-1.
Douglass won its first game of the season against two losses.
Saginaw was up 17-15 after the first quarter and 32-29 at halftime, and fell behind 52-46 after the third quarter.
Ronquavious Southward had 15 points and seven steals for Saginaw while Algevon Eichelberger added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Jerry Smith put in 12 points for Saginaw. Keyon Addison had 11 points and Malik Jordan added nine points. David Bradley scored 23 points for Douglass.
