Saginaw Swan Valley improved its record to 37-8-7 on Tuesday with a 3-1 victory over Belding in the Class B regional semifinals at Pinconning. Belding won the first game 25-21, but Swan Valley prevailed in the next three 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.
Swan Valley plays in the championship match Thursday night.
Sarah Burgess led the Swan Valley attack with 19 digs while Ashley Fleminger had 12 digs, followed by Lauren Huebner with 27 kills and nine digs, Courtney Reinhold with 26 kills, eight blocks and 9 digs and Jenna Stevenson with 55 assists and 16 digs.
