Morley Stanwood is in the Class C regional finals volleyball match Thursday night against Grand Rapids Covenant Christian. That’s because the Mohawks improved to 42-10-1 with a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 victory in the regional semifinals over White Cloud.

Morley Stanwood was led by Mekeyla Carey with 12 kills, eight digs and three blocks, plus Kayla Rosman with 12 kills and eight digs.
The Mohawks are bidding to get back to the quarterfinal round for the first time since the 2011 season when they went on to win the Class 2011 state championship.
