Pewamo-Westphalia has now won district championships for the third straight season thanks to a 3-0 victory over Bath on Saturday. Both teams are members of the Central Michigan Athletic Conference. P-W is now 25-16-2 and will play Grand Rapids Covenant Christian in the Class C regional semifinals Tuesday at Morley Stanwood. The winner will face White Cloud or Morley Stanwood in the title match on Thursday. Maria Heckman had an ace for the 25th point in the third game.
Bath finished its season at 16-26.
In the win against Bath, Candace Martin and Andrea Spitzley led the Pirates at the net.
