Lansing Sexton has won the Division 4 district title and is now zeroing in on regionals. Sexton is 11-0.

Sexton had to hold back Lake Fenton 32-14 which fell to 8-3 after dropping the district finals game last weekend.

It was 14-14 after  halftime and going into the fourth quarter. Sexton had an 18-0 edge in the fourth.

Sexton had beaten Corunna 58-6 in the predistricts. It was 37-6 at halftime and 51-6 after the third quarter.  In that game, Sexton netted runs of 5 and 9 yards from Avonte Bell, 38 yards from Ja’Von Wray, 7 yards from Javon Cooney, scoring passes of 77 and 4 yards from Mike Malik to Cooney and Nate Alvarez

 

Sexton will be at home this Saturday to play Saginaw Swan Valley in the regional title game.
