Chippewa Hills volleyball team defeated Reed City 25-15, 25-20, 34-32 to win the Class BC district title on Thursday. Chippewa Hills will play at Pinconning on Tuesday in semifinal regional action.

“I know my doctor’s going to hate me with my blood pressure,” Chip Hills coach Abby Snyder joked afterwards. “It was awesome. They worked so hard. They deserved it. They worked for it every step of the way.”

Hannah Guy fired one of her screaming attacks for the 34th and final point.

“It felt really good to know we won the game. We were very excited,”  Guy said. “It’s a team effort and I just happened to get the last ball.”

The Warriors entered the game, Guy said, knowing what they needed to do against the Coyotes.

“I’ve never experienced this feeling before and it’s probably one of the best feelings I’ve ever felt,” she said.

For the Warriors, 35-10, Amanda Koepf had five aces, Guy contributed 20 kills, Haili Earl had 13 digs and Callee Stirn had 32 assists.
