Chippewa Hills qualified for the Division 4 playoffs by winning the last three games of the regular season for a 6-3 record. That qualifies them for the high school football playoffs which open this week at Cadillac. The Warriors are the No. 4 seed in Region 1, District 1, and plays the No. 1 seed Vikngs, a former conference member with Chippewa Hills.
Ogemaw Heights is in the other district bracket with a road game at Cheboygan. Chippewa Hills would be on the road in the next round of the playoffs if it is able to knock off Cadillac.
The regionals are Nov. 15-16.
