Carson City-Crystal has ended the regular season at 9-0 after a 21-6 win over Potterville.
It’s the first time in school history the team has been 9-0.
Robert Failing had a TD run of 15 yards while Arron Haines scored from 2 yards out. In the fourth quarter, Will Beedy had a 35-yard run.
Beedy gained 189 yards on 18 attempts to lead the CC-Crystal run attack. Failing covered 39 yards on 10 scampers while quarterback Rhett Pringle was 33 yards on seven carries and completed 3-of-4 passes for 58 yards. Haines caught two passes for 49 yards.
The Eagles were Mid-State Athletic Conference champs and now advance to the playoffs.
