Rockford’s football team is 4-0 in the O-K Red Conference after a 19-7 win over Grand Haven on Friday and has clinched a title tie.
The Rams opened the scoring in the first quarter on Tyler Bradfield’s 31-yard interception return. Ryan Maguire had a 60-yard interception return for Grand Haven in the second quarter. Rockford scored 10 points in the second half. Quinn Nordin booted a 26-yard field goal and Nate Staley had a 13-yard run.
The Rams had 180 total offensive yards compared to 105 for Grand Haven. For Rockford, Ryan Jerrills gained 33 yards on 11 carries. Chase Hankins was 11-of-18 in passing for 82 yards. Josh Olson caught seven passes for 57 yards.
