Crosssroads ended the West Michigan D League season at 8-0 following a 25-3, 25-7, 25-13 victory over Baldwin Thursday night.
Hanna Sprik served for three aces to give her team a 24-3 lead en route to the win in the first game. Malory Carlson was tough at the net in the second game, sparking her team to an 8-0 lead.
In the third game. Megan Soller had five straight aces for a 19-5 lead. Pieske had an ace for Baldwin but the Cougars were able to advance to the win.
“We’re basically working on our hitting and our serving,” Haner said.
Soller had five aces while Haner and Sprik contributed two apiece. Mallory Carlson led in kills with 10 while Miranda Carlson had five and Haner four.
