Notes: A lack of numbers prevented Godwin from fielding a varsity team last season. The numbers are up this year and the Wolverines make a return to the playing field. Godwin has good size and plenty of speed. The Wolverines also have a good mix of veterans and youth.

Notes: A massive rebuilding job is underway at Hopkins where an outstanding senior class must be replacfed. The Vikings new a new set of backs and new linemen to come together quickly.

Coach’s comment: “Last year, we missed the playoffs for the first time in five years, and they have taken it personally. We should be very fast running to the ball and hitting people. We aren’t overly big, so we have to take advantage of our speed and aggressiveness.”

Notes: The Eagles have an outstanding quarterback in Jake Krueger. Krueger also has some talented receivers and backs to work with. The big key to the season is up front. Graduation decimated the Kent City offensive line.
