After enduring the recruiting grind, Alma High School’s Curtis Doyle finally made it official on April 25 by committing to play football for Western Michigan University.

Alma finished 5-4 last season, with Doyle playing a dominating role on both sides of the football. He was a Division 3-4 first-team All-Stater.

Doyle, a 6’6″, 310-pound lineman, also had an offer from Central Michigan University but ultimately chose to attend school in Kalamazoo and play for the rival Broncos.

Doyle joins former Alma standout Kyle Lark, who also plays for the Broncos.
