Cedar Springs was fifth at 666.16 and Lowell finished sixth at 616.88 in Wednesday’s O-K Bronze-White Conference cheer meet.
Jenison took first and Grand Rapids Christian second.
After the first round, Christian led with 228.0 points, followed by Jenison at 227.3, Caledonia at 214.9, Forest Hills Co-op at 211.8, Lowell at 209.4, Cedar Springs at 204.1, and West Catholic at 161.
The rankings changed slightly after the second round with GR Christian at 436.52, barely edging Jenison at 434.74 Forest Hills was third at 403.44 with Caledonia in fourth at 398.52 followed by Cedar Springs at 390.26, Lowell at 382.18 and West Catholic at 275.46.
Cedar Springs was led by seniors Nicki Luevano, Katie Maka, Briana Pierson, and Jacy Wasoscki.
“I thought we did a great job. They have worked hard over the last couple of weeks and performed well today,” said Cedar Springs coach Anna Ramirez.
Round 3 was CS’s best one.
“They hit most of their stunts,” Ramirez said. “We will continue to work on our confidence and continue to work on our precision.”
