The Saginaw High boys basketball got off on the right foot Dec. 7 in their quest to defend its Class A championship.

The Trojans had no problem in its season opener defeating Mt. Pleasant 78-60.

With eight players returning from last season’s championship team, the skies the limit on how far this Trojan’s team can go come March.

In the meantime it was business as usual for Saginaw High against the Oilers.

Saginaw High played all 14 players on it roster in the game led by Keon Addison’s 14 points. Julian Henderson was also solid with 12 points and Malik Jordan came off the bench to score 12. 

Kalebb Perry led Mount Pleasant  with 21 points, followed by Kyle Shomin with 14 and Jon-Michael Clark with 12.
