Saginaw Arthur Hill opened the season strong with an impressive 87-47 win over Midland Dow Dec. 7. The Lumberjacks were led by a strong 1-2 punch in senior Jalen Adams and sophomore Eric Davis. Adams, one of the most explosive players in the area this season finished the game with 25 points and 16 rebounds while Davis contributed 16 points of his own. Adams and Davis are two reasons why Arthur Hill will be one of the top teams in the area this season.
The loss for Dow was its first under new coach Marshall Gray, who took over this season for longtime coach Dave MacDonald. Gavin Groszek paced Dow with 14 points and Malick Garner chipped in 10 in the loss.
