The Heritage boys basketball team has started the season 2-0 with a pair of hard fought victories over Swan Valley (68-61) and Bay City Western (34-30).
In the win over Swan Valley, Heritage had four players score in double figures led by Kyle Telder’s 20 points. Sophomore Brian Cole scored 12, Harneet Singh 11 and Jaleen Young chipped 10.
For Swan Valley sophomore Nick Call paced the Vikings with 20 points and Leontay White added 14.
Against Bay City Western, Heritage pulled away in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Telder led the way with nine points. Singh finished the day with five points and 14 rebounds.
Heritage is back in action Dec. 11 when it hosts Saginaw Arthur Hill.
