Coach Shawn Balhorn’s Montabella wrestling team is off to a good start.
The Mustangs wrestled Wednesday at Leroy Pine River in the season opener.
Montabella defeated Pine River 39-36 and Manton 42-28.
“Last year, we upset Montabella in the district finals,” said Pine River coach Tim Jones. “They have a lot of good kids.”
