The Chippewa Hills Warriors outlasted Big Rapids 3-1 in a Class B district semifinal volleyball test Thursday (Nov. 1) at Clare.

The Warriors lost the first game 26-24 but won the next three 25-18, 25-15, 25-17 with net playing being a key factor.

For the Warriors, Hali Earl had 20 digs while Hannah Guy and Kendall Boone both totaled 12 kills apiece. Boone had six blocks.

The Cardinals had 23 kills including 14 by Kendra Enszer and also nine service aces with three from Cara Jensen. Big Rapids had four blocks and 34 digs with eight digs by Braeden Gosma, six by Katie Hickson and four by Jensen.
