Chippewa Hills gained revenge over Big Rapids for a regular-season loss with a 31-6 playoff victory Friday night at Top Taggart Field to advance to the district finals against Ogemaw Heights Friday night.
The Warriors are 7-3 while Big Rapids ends its season at 8-2.
Nick Baldwin had a 9-yard run for Big Rapids’ only touchdown.
The Warriors fired out to an 18-0 lead. After Big Rapids scored, Jake Tarbell passed 31 yards to Trent Karcher for a first down and then ran in from the 24-yard line for another touchdown.
Big Rapids had five turnovers including one that led to an 10-yard touchdown run by Jason Peacock for the Warriors.
Baldwin led Big Rapids with 97 yards rushing.
