Belding went 1-2 in the O-K Blue Conference tournament on Saturday and finished fourth in the tourney and third in the final O-K Blue standings.
Belding lost to Allendale 23-25, 25-19, 15-12 to open the day but then the Redskins came back to knock off Wyoming 20-25, 25-16, 15-10. In their final match, they lost to Comstock Park 19-25, 25-14, 15-2.
For the tournament, Stefanie Harig had 21 digs while Rachel Hunt added 26. Hunt also had five blocks.Brooke Linebaugh contributed 62 assists and three aces while Hunt and Harig added 20 kills apiece, Hannah Linebaugh had 15 kills.
Next Monday, Belding is home against Lakeview in a district tournament opener starting at 6 p.m.
“I think we’re going to shock some people in the districts,” Harig said.
