Beal City’s girls took first place in the Division 4 regionals Saturday at Carson City Crystal.
Hanna Steffke and Emily Steffke went one-two for Beal City with third and fifth place finishes in 19:27.0 and 19:59.6.
Also for Beal City, Hannah Neyer was eighth in 20:32.7 while Maggie Kolb was 14th in 21:05.9. Hayley Neyer was 23rd in 21:58.6 and Larissa Schwerin 63rd in 27:05.5.
The boys for Beal City were fourth.
Nick Pung was sixth in 16:48.9 for the Aggies while Charlie Clark was seventh in 16:50.3, Elton Clark 17th in 17:38.0 and Ethan Schafer 21st in 17:48.9. Brendan Carick was 24th in 17:51.7, James Kolb 38th in 18:34.5 and Apollo Schafer 60th in 20:28.3.
Beal City runs Saturday at the state finals at the Michigan International Speedway.
