REED CITY — Quinton Kichak has scored five goals as a striker in his freshman season of varsity and he’ll remember his fifth one for a long time.
Kichak scored the only goal Monday night in Reed City’s 1-0 victory over Lakeview in a Division 3 first-round game recently and the season ends for the Wildcats at 6-14-1.
The Coyotes split with Lakeview during the regular season.
Lucas Sweet was goalkeeper for Lakeview.
“We knew it would be close,” said Lakeview coach Chris Smith. “The first two times we played, there were a lot of goals scored and I thought there’d be a few more than one. But I knew it would be a close game.”
