Carson City-Crystal’s football team is headed back to the playoffs.
The Eagles improved their record to 6-2 with a 42-20 victory over Ashley on Friday in Mid-State Activities Conference action.
The Eagles took advantage of their first season in the MSAC by getting the six wins necessary to make the postseason.
Ashley fell to 3-5.
The Eagles close the regular season at Potterville on Friday.
Arron Haines rushed for 156 yards and Will Beedy 140 yards to pace the Carson City-Crystal attack.
