After dropping a shootout to Lansing Catholic Central in the season opener, the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates have reeled off four straight victories as they for the stretch run of the football season.

The Pirates opened the season dropping a 45-21 decision to Lansing Catholic Central. Offense has been the key to the season for P-W as the Pirates have scored 21 or more points in all five games.

The Pirates have a 4-0 record in the CMAC and will face Fowler Oct. 5 in what should be a showdown for the conference title. P-W has really upgraded its schedule this season and the season finale is a battle with last year’s Division 8 state champion Mendon.
