The results have been mixed for the Merrill football team this fall. After starting the season with a pair of wins, the Vandals dropped three straight games.

Merrill started the season on fire with a 46-0 win against Bridgeport and then upended St. Charles 35-9. After that, however, the Vandals fell to Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary, Ithaca and Carrollton.

Merrill scored 81 points in its two wins but only 34 in the three losses.

Junior quarterback Austin Glazier (6-3, 170) has been pacing the offense along with senior running back Jordan Garchow (5-6, 170).

The Vandals are looking to close the season strong as they face St. Louis, Breckenridge, Saginaw Valley Lutheran and Vestaburg in their final four games.
