Breckenridge’s cross country teams took second place at the Gratiot County Championships on Sept. 4.
St. Louis edged Breckenridge 46-51 for the girls and the boys lost 38-44 to Ithaca.
For the Breckenridge boys, Kurt Gulick was fourth and Kyle Gulick fifth in 17:41.41 and 17:56.47, Jesse Corbat eighth in 18:15.1, Nate Partee 12th in 18:44.62 and Austin Brittain 15th in 19:11.
For the Breckenridge girls, Kirsten Olling was first in 18:36.22, Dominque Adams third in 20:34.88, Rachel Reiber eighth in 21:52.78, Lindsay Hoard 16th in 23:08.56 and Sarah Beebe 23rd in 25:37.56.
