The Lowell Red Arrows turned in a dominating performance as they defeated Lansing Eastern 38-0 to improve to 2-0 for the season.

The Red Arrows rushed for 328 yards and added another 83 yards passing on offense while the Red Arrow defense held Eastern to 43 total yards for the game.

Lowell led 7-0 at the end of the first quarter as Kanon Dean scored from five-yards out.

The Red Arrows tacked on a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter. Titan Anderson scored on a 14-yard run while Kyler Shurlow scored on a six-yard run.

Austin Bieri, who kicked three extra points in the first half, added a 37-yard field goal in the third quarter.

Lowell closed out the scoring with a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns. Anderson scored on a five-yard run while Zach Dawson ran in from 13-yards out.

Anderson led Lowell in rushing with 128 yards on seven carries. Dean rushed for 106 yards on 24 carries while Dawson added 52 yards rushing.

Anderson also completed 50 percent of his passes for 41 yards.

Eastern quarterback Santiago Mendez passed for 58 yards for the Quakers.

Lowell returns to action Friday in the annual “pink out” game when it hosts Grand Haven.

Lansing Eastern opens conference play Friday against Holt.
