The Lansing Everett football team opened the season in a big way with a 27-6 win against Lansing Waverly.
Alec Cambric led the Viking offense with 144 yards rushing and a touchdown.
The Vikings return to action Thursday when they host DeWitt in a battle of unbeaten teams.
