Emily Wee continues to break records for the Frankenmuth girls track team.
The senior recently set meet records in the 100-meter hurdles (15.40 seconds) and the 300-meter hurdles (45.86) during the Division 3 MITCA Team State Meet held at Kent City High School.
When Frankenmuth won the state title in 2010, Wee won the Division 3 state title in the 300-meter hurdles (44.15) and was a member of the state champion 800-meter relay team (1:45.63).
The Eagles also won the state title in 2009 and finished second by one point in 2011.
Wee did not participate during the 2011 season. During the summer after the 2010 state title, she broke her wrist falling over a hurdle. She played volleyball in the fall and half the basketball season before tearing the ACL in her right knee.
Wee will continue her track career next season at the University of Michigan.
