The John Glenn baseball team had a 29-6 record at press time and was ranked fifth in the latest Division 2 coaches’ poll.
Leading the team this year have been pitchers Zach Olszewski (five wins, 42 strikeouts), Aaron Martin (four wins, 20 strikeouts), Luke Scharich (four wins, 52 strikeouts), and Tone Jacobs (three wins, 33 strikeouts).
Olszewski had two home runs to lead the offense and has added 10 doubles and 24 RBI. Chase Krager has two triples, 10 doubles, and 10 RBI; Reid Beffrey has two triples and two doubles, along with 13 RBI. Brendon Vittitow has 25 hits, including a triple and six doubles. Brendan Seymor has 19 hits, including two doubles.
