CLASS C
@OAKLAND CHRISTIAN
Flint Hamady has been the team to beat in Class C for the past several years and the Hawks look strong again as they bring a 21-1 record into the district. The Hawks have a rugged semifinal opponent in Grosse Pointe University Leggett (19-4). In the other semifinal look for Madison Heights Foley (19-4) to be the favorite.
Projected winner: Flint Hamady
@VERMONTVILLE MAPLE VALLEY
Pewamo-Westphalia advanced to the Class C state quarterfinals last year before falling to Flint Hamady. The Pirates have done a solid job of reloading this year and have fashioned a 17-6 record but faces a major hurdle in unbeaten Concord (23-0) in the semifinals. Look for Springport (19-4) to upend Hillsdale (13-10) in the other semifinal.
Projected winner: CONCORD
@SAGINAW VALLEY LUTHERAN
This is a solid regional with four teams capable of hoisting the trophy Thursday evening. Host Valley Lutheran has to be the favorite on its own floor. Valley Lutheran will take on Marlette in one semifinal in a battle of 20-win teams. The other semifinal game will have an 18-5 Sandusky squad taking on a dangerous Nouvel squad that enters with a 16-6 record.
Projected winner: VALLEY LUTHERAN
@KENT CITY
Two former Newaygo County Athletic Association (NCAA) rivals are on a collision course for what should be a blockbuster regional final. Host Kent City and Morley-Stanwood both enter the regional with identical 23-0 records. Kent City faces league rival Calvin Christian (11-10) in what could be a trap game in one semifinal with Morley-Stanwood squaring off against a talented Carson City-Crystal (18-4) squad in the other semifinal.
Projected winner: MORLEY-STANWOOD
CLASS D
@Beal City

The other side of the bracket features a game between a pair of 19-3 teams when Mason County Eastern squares off against Fruitport Calvary Christian.
Projected winner: PORTLAND ST. PATRICK
@BAY CITY ALL SAINTS
Saginaw Lutheran Seminary has turned in a solid season and brings a 16-6 record into its game against a talented Kingston squad that is 19-4. The winner of this game will be favored in the regional finals against either Genesee Christian or Port Hope.

The host Pilgrims of Lansing Christian are on a roll and will be heavily favored in this regional. Christian should roll into the finals after facing Saline Washtenaw Christian in the semifinals and will face its toughest challenge in the finals against Allen Park Intercity Baptist.
