The Lansing Eastern boy’s cross country team wrapped up the season with a 13th-place finish at the Division 1 regional at Portage Central.
Conference rival Okemos won the regional title while Caledonia placed second and East Kentwood third. Eastern totaled 414 points to place 13th.
Junior Shawn Sparks led the way for Eastern as he finished 62nd with a time of 18:32. Sophomore Brian King placed 81st in a time of 19:31 followed by Nick Kilpatrick (88th, 20:50), Dominic Keyton (90th, 21:00), Hai Nguyen (93rd, 21:37), Ryan Sullivan (94th, 22:55) and Kaleb Isbell (98th, 31:31).
