The Okemos girl’s cross country team wrapped up the season with a fourth-place finish at the Division 1 regional at Portage Central.
Conference rival Grand Ledge won the regional title while Caledonia placed second and East Kentwood third. Okemos totaled 94 points to place fourth, 18 points behind third-place Kentwood and a trip to the state finals.
Senior Haley Crites led the way for Okemos as she placed 14th overall in a time of 20:24. Junior Paige McKeon placed 17th in a time of 20:27 followed by senior Annie Bartkowski (19th, 20:41), sophomore Connor LaPres (20th, 20:43), junior Joyce Lee (24th, 20:51), Roxanne Raven (27th, 20:54) and Stacey Li (38th, 21:18).
