The Williamston boy’s cross country team wrapped up the season with an fifth-place finish at the Division 2 regional at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson.
Mason won the regional title followed by Chelsea in second and Sturgis in third place. Williamston totaled 155 points to place fourth place, one-point behind Charlotte.
Junior Aaron Baumgarten led the way for the Hornets as he placed seventh in a time of 16:25.1. Sophomore Ben Thoenes placed 13th in 16:54.30 followed by junior Connor Coscarelli (28th, 17:39.9), sophomore Alexander Krantz (32nd, 17:42.4), sophomore Alan Sleight (75th, 19:01.5), Cody Robitaille (87th, 20:16.50) and Alex Urbane (98th, 23:54.6).
