The Lansing Eastern girl’s cross country team wrapped up the season with a 12th -place finish at the Division 1 regional at Portage Central.
Conference rival Grand Ledge won the regional title while Caledonia placed second and East Kentwood third. The young Quaker team totaled 324 points to place 12th.
Freshman Isis Gregg led the way for the Quakers as she placed 39th in 21:21. Fellow freshman Kirsten Smith placed 46th in 21:33 followed by senior Brittney Cruz (70th, 23:11), Amber Campbell (84th, 25:35), Dominique Edwards (85th, 26:52) and Katie Castilla (86th, 27:12).
